Accounting Clerk


Location: Midvale, UT

Accounts Receivable Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Process and send customer invoices and credits.
2. Research, correct and reissue invoices as needed
3. Follow-up on past due invoices.
4. Process cash deposits weekly.
5. Maintain billing records and account status
6. Help controller and other office staff as assigned or asked

Accounts Payable Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Process monthly bills for payment.
2. Coordinate with office staff to ensure that reporting is timely and accurate
3. Issue checks and mail in timely manner.
4. Coordinate with vendors for W9 and issue 1099's at year-end
5. Maintain billing records and account status
6. Perform general office duties such as copying, filing, answering telephones

Job/Skill Requirements:

1. Minimum High School Diploma and minimum two years of accounting experience.
2. Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office and 10-key proficiency.
3. Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Organized, pays attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
5. Dependable and flexible.
6. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
7. Must be able to multitask and the ability to prioritize under pressure

Shift Hours And Requirements

All shifts are variable depending on time zones in which we are calling and our workload. The day shift is typically 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday. The swing shift is typically 3pm-11pm on weekdays, 9am-5pm on Saturdays, and 1pm-9pm on Sundays.

Day shift employees are required to work Monday-Friday. Swing shift employees are required to work at least four weekend days per month plus enough weekend/weekday shifts each week to ensure they have a minimum of 4 total shifts per week.


Your schedule can be quite flexible. As long as you work a minimum of four days each week and one of those days is a weekend day, you will usually be given the days off you request. Day shift employees are required to work five days per week.

When you are hired, you will be asked to submit what your "normal" or default schedule will be. However, you can make changes to your default schedule weekly as long as your changes are made by Wednesday night for the following week. We offer an online scheduling system to make it easy for you to change your schedule without having to come into the office. Once Wednesday night passes, your schedule can only be changed in emergency situations.
